The majority of rural communities in Pakistan do not have access to the health care system because of cost or other access considerations. They therefore continue to suffer from disease, trauma and other health complications. This situation obviously needs to be improved and our free medical camps step in as their biggest hope. IDC through its DBC-1 project is bridging the distance between patients and quality health care in the Project Zone communities by organizing different thematic free medical camps. These medical camps help us serve humanity by taking care of sick children (girls and boys), youth, adults (both males and females), elderly, the infirm and all other underprivileged groups and giving them healthcare services for free.
In the below given pictures, a free medical camp on skin diseases, a very common health issue in the area, has been organized and a qualified health professional is providing service to the project zone community members, besides the needed medicines. We do this because of our commitment to the principle that even the poorest among us deserve the dignity of needed medical help which cannot be declined.
