General and Gynae Medical Camp

As part of the Health Component of the DBC-1 Project, Delta Blue Carbon, in collaboration with Hashmanis Group of Hospitals, organized a Free General and Gynecology Medical Camp on 3 July 2026 to further strengthen access to quality healthcare for remote coastal communities.

More than 950 community members received free professional medical care through general and gynaecological consultations. The camp also provided on-site laboratory tests, including Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Hepatitis B (HBsAg) screening, Hepatitis C (HCV) screening, and Tuberculosis (TB) screening, along with ultrasound examinations and free medicines, enabling timely diagnosis, treatment, and referral where required.

Healthcare services were delivered to community members of all ages and genders, ensuring inclusive access to medical care. Patients with conditions requiring advanced medical attention were identified and referred for appropriate follow-up care with specialists.

The initiative strengthens access to essential healthcare services, promotes preventive healthcare and women’s health awareness, and supports the early detection and treatment of medical conditions. As part of its ongoing commitment to community well-being, Delta Blue Carbon will continue delivering healthcare initiatives that improve the quality of life for coastal communities across the Indus Delta.

Every consultation, diagnosis, and treatment delivered through this initiative represents a step toward healthier families, stronger communities, and a future where quality healthcare is accessible to all.
