Bursary Scheme

Delta Blue Carbon launched the Student Educational Support Program (Bursary Scheme) on 15 July 2026 in the DBC-1 Project area, Keti Bunder. The initiative is designed to remove financial barriers to higher education, enabling deserving students from coastal communities across the Indus Delta to continue their education and build better future opportunities.

The program was launched through community outreach sessions across the villages of Bhair Jatt, Mamu Jatt, Ali Bux Jatt, Qasim Jatt, Hayat Jatt, and Abdullah Mirbahar, where students and their families were introduced to the bursary scheme. Participants received guidance on the program’s objectives, eligibility criteria, required documentation, and application process, while application forms and promotional materials were distributed to encourage participation. By providing financial support for education, the initiative aims to reduce student dropout, expand access to educational opportunities, and improve long-term employment and livelihood prospects for youth in the DBC-1 Project area.

The initiative reflects Delta Blue Carbon’s commitment to investing in the next generation by expanding equitable access to higher education and empowering young people to contribute to the sustainable development and resilience of communities across the Indus Delta.
