Food Ration Distribution in DBC-1 Project Area - Keti Bandar
The recent general inflation and more specifically food items inflation in Pakistan have resulted in rising costs of essential food items which have made life even more difficult for low-income families to purchase good quality food regularly. To help project zone communities to deal with the situation, IDC has launched a food distribution program in the project area.
The Indus Delta capital distributed 420 ration bags, with each bag containing 16 items comprising 10 kg of wheat flour, 5 kg of rice, 3 liters of cooking oil, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of gram flour/besan, 1 kg of chickpeas, 1 kg of red lentils, 1 kg of Split Chickpea lentils, 1 kg of white lentils, 1 packet of vermicelli, 1 packet of Salt, 0.5 kg of tea, 1 liter bottle of Rooh Afza Sharbat, 0.25 kg of dates, 0.5 kg of mix curry powder, etc.
